Chart of the week: Dwindling FAAC

Every month Nigeria’s states share a pot of money with the federal government. This chart compares the monthly figures for 2019 with 2020, both in naira, and in US dollars at the prevailing exchange rate for the month in question. In dollar terms, the drop in real FAAC is a lot more significant.
